I am a huge science-fiction fan, and recently I finally decided to read The Expanse series. There are already a few beautiful covers of the series on the market (the 10th-anniversary edition and Polish edition look incredible), but I wanted to mock up something myself quickly. I decided on a simple and graphic approach, using bold forms and colours.
